Ube for a Cause

Drawing inspiration from the Good Shepherd Convent, a popular ube brand in the Philippines run by nuns who use their proceeds to fund children’s education in the remote mountains, Serena is in the process of starting The Ube For U Bae Foundation, the bakery’s non-profit arm, which will provide scholarships to transgender youth across the Philippines.
